Research on Global Ecological Suitability of Regions with Lepidium meyenii (Maca) Based on MaxEnt Model
Abstract:Objective:To study the potential areas of maca in the world. Methods:Based on the species diversity information database,49 valid records were collected,32 groups of ecological impact factors in the global climate database were integrated,and the maximum entropy (MaxEnt) model and environmental adaptation theory were combined to study the potential climate suitable distribution areas of maca in the world. Results:The results of MaxEnt model showed that the regions with high probability of distribution were mainly concentrated in South America;the theory of environmental adaptation mainly included most of South America,Southeast,West and Central Africa,part of Southeast Asia and eastern Australia. Conclusion:This study provides a scientific basis for the investigation,protection and sustainable development of maca in the world.
