Advances in Research of Chemical Constituents and Biological Activity of Caesalpinia Plants
Abstract:Objective:To summarize the chemical and pharmacological advances of genus Ceasalpiana (Caesalpiniaceae) since 2005. Several classes of chemical compounds, such as flavonoids, diterpenoids, and steroids, have been isolated from various species which were reported to show a wide range of pharmacological properties, including antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antitumor and antimicrobial activities.
