Analysis of Polysaccharide Composition of Aspongopus chinensis and Its Adulterants
Abstract:Objective:To analyze the polysaccharide composition of Aspongopus chinensis and its adulterants. Methods:Polysaccharides were extracted by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method. The content of polysaccharides was determined by phenol-sulfuric acid method. The composition of monosaccharides was analyzed by pre-column derivatization HPLC method, and the principal component analysis(PCA)was performed by SIMCA-P software. Results:The polysaccharide content of the Cyclopelta parva was relatively high, followed by Megymenum inerme. The polysaccharides such as A.chinensis were mainly composed of mannose, rhamnose, glucose, galactose and other monosaccharides, while the polysaccharides of C.parva were mainly composed of Glucose composition;from the principal component analysis,in addition to the A.chinensis, other varieties were aggregated into one class. Conclusion:There are significant differences in polysaccharide content and monosaccharide composition between A.chinensis and its adulterants.
